Equestrian Background
'I have had a love for horses since the age of 7, when I was given the opportunity to start riding back in my hometown of Ramsey, Cambridgeshire. Over time I was fortunate enough to have my own horses and as the years went by I learnt what it took to look after your own and the dedication required. I competed in showing classes as well as ridden dressage at low level, local competitions.
I went on to study Equine Science and Management at Shuttleworth College in 2017-2019, where I completed with a National Diploma, BHS Stage 1 and BHS Stage 2 exams.
In july 2019, following college, I was lucky enough to be given a full time job working at Woodwalton Stud and Training Centre where I gained valuable experience in running a yard, breaking in and riding away 3 year olds and competing both in dressage and showjumping. I was also very hands on with the development of the brood mares in foal, carefully monitoring their progress and assisting in the birth of the foals if needed.

In Summer 2012, I moved to Newbury, Berkshire where I went on to work for Dan Jocelyn, a New Zealand olympic event rider. Here I gained the experience, knowledge and skill sets that is required in the eventing world to become a successfull event groom. I was always soaking up the information that everybody had to offer!
At the end of 2014 I moved to Surrey and started working for Fiona Kashel as her travelling groom and yard manager. I have spent the last 8 years being fortunate enough to travel to some of the most prestigious events in the world, looking after some very talented horses and grooming alongside fellow international grooms alike.
For the last 8 years of competition grooming I have been fortunate enough to groom at many 4 and 5* events, including: Badminton, Blenheim, Luhmuhlen, Haras Du Pin, Stuttgart, Stockholm, and many more. In 2018 and 2019, I also groomed for Imogen Murray at both Badminton and Burghley.
In Autumn 2022 I decided to start up my own freelance business, offering my services to a wider range of people and horses in the Surrey Hills.'
Canine Background
Growing up surrounded by horses, I’ve always had a canine companion by my side. From riding through the countryside to tending to horses in the fields, dogs have been a constant in my life. With years of experience in equine grooming, I realised my passion could extend to caring and grooming for dogs as well. This natural progression led me to expand my grooming business to include canine grooming services, offering a comprehensive solution for owners of both horses and dogs!

Passions and Hobbies
In the pictures below is my dog Buddy, who likes to accompany me where ever I go. We love the great outdoors and adventuring the hidden corners of the UK.
At home I have my own horse 'Magnus', a black warmblood who I enjoy competing in dressage and going for long hacks on.
In summer 2022 I found a new love for snorkelling and kayaking and would love to explore more of the seas and open waters the world has to offer!
